Information for Artists

The Wicker Part Fine Art Fair will take place on Saturday, September 6, 2025 from 10-6 at the Wicker Park Community Gardens at 1425 N. Damen Avenue, Chicago, IL 60622 in Wicker Park – The Park. This event will include a curated group of fine artists displaying and selling their work, artworks installed in the gardens (The Garden As Gallery), performances of classical music, hands on family art workshops, and tours of the Gardens and the Garden As Gallery installations in them. Some of the artists who are chosen to participate in the Fine Arts Fair will be asked to collaborate with the Garden Designer, and Fair Coordinator on creating art installations in the gardens.

Wicker Park Fine Art Fair requirements

  • Artists/crafters must submit at least three pics, max six of original artwork with your application.
  • All mediums are welcome as long as it is original work. Special consideration will be given to work showing reference to our natural world.
  • Fee is $20 and must be included in the application. If accepted the space fee is $150 and must be paid by June 30
  • Deadline is May1st. You will be notified by an acceptance email on or May 16 and details will be emailed by May 30.
  • Spaces are at least 10 x 10. Spaces are assigned. Artist must bring their own tents, tables and chairs.
  • Check in and Set up time will be Saturday, September 6 starting at 7:30 till 9:30 at the corner of Damen and Schiller
  • Free parking will be available half a block away
  • Electricity will not be available.
  • No refunds of application fee or acceptance fee.
  • All participation artist must be showing original artwork.
  • If accepted an artist might be requested to include a piece of work in the Garden as Gallery
